Dogma Blue: The Story
Early 2018... drummer André Prevedello, guitarist Tales Ribeiro and bassist Eduardo Legat decided to regroup and reactive their work from former bands @thebestmen and The Black Stamp.Â

The Best Men was formed on March 17th, 2011, by previous lead guitarist André Cortez, first formation had Marcelo Paes as singer and after the first performance on April 30th Eduardo Legat joined the band. During that time, the band played exclusively cover songs and performed three times on band member’s weddings. In 2015 the band shift focuses and started to work on original songs, the band was renamed to The Blacks Stamp, by the end of the year the band dissolved without releasing their first single which was being produced by that time.
Â
Back in 2018 after a couple of rehearsals Marcelo Paes rejoined the band and brought a new idea for the band first single. As they decided to record a new lead guitarist was needed, due former lead guitar player André Cortez moved abroad. The band decided to audition for lead guitar and after the FIRST try they tapped Rodrigo Kolb for lead guitar although, Eduardo left to study in Germany. Rodrigo called longtime friend Roberto Greboggy to fill in the bass position.Â
Â
With a complete new formation and mind set the band decided to once more change name becoming Dogma Blue on April 7th, 2018. On June 1st of 2018 the band released their first single No Garden.

From February to August 2019 the band recorded on their first EP "Quietus" that was released on September 20 of that year. The EP got great feedback from the specialized media in Brazil, after that André Prevedello voted 6th place on the Best of 2019: Brazilian Drummer.

Early 2020 the band started pre-producing their next album, this time a full length, expected for later this year.Â
